THE POUR PROJECT COMPETITION
TERMS & CONDITIONS
1. Promoter
The promoter is Zephyr Coffee Co Pty Ltd ABN 56 619 651 222, trading as KUKI Coffee (“KUKI”, “Promoter”, “we”, “us”).
The promotion is conducted by KUKI Coffee in collaboration with UnTinto Unique Coffee. Brewing Culture is the Major Prize Partner.
2. Competition Period
The competition opens at 12:00am AEST on Wednesday, 7 October 2026 and closes at 11:59pm AEST on Sunday, 25 October 2026 (“Competition Period”).
Entries received outside the Competition Period will not be eligible.
3. Eligibility
Entry is open to Australian residents aged 18 years or older.
Employees, contractors and immediate family members of the Promoter, UnTinto Unique Coffee or Brewing Culture who are directly involved in the administration or judging of the competition are not eligible to enter.
No purchase is necessary to enter.
Purchasing The Pour Project Coffee Box does not increase an entrant's chance of being shortlisted, progressing through voting or winning a prize.
4. How to Enter
During the Competition Period, entrants must:
- Create and photograph or film their own latte-art pour.
- Post the photo or video to their Instagram account as a feed post or Reel.

- Tag the above three Instagram accounts in their entry.
- Include #ThePourProject in the post caption.
The entrant's account and competition post must be publicly visible during the Competition Period so KUKI can verify the entry.
Entrants using a private Instagram account may also send their entry directly to @kuki_coffee via Instagram DM so that it can be verified.
Entries must remain available for verification until the competition results have been announced.
5. Multiple Entries
Entrants may submit multiple eligible pours during the Competition Period.
Each entry must meet all entry requirements.
Submitting multiple entries does not guarantee selection or increase voting rights.
Only one entry per person may progress to the Top 8.
If an entrant submits multiple eligible entries, KUKI and UnTinto may select the entry they consider strongest for shortlisting.
6. Entry Requirements
Entries must:
- be the entrant's own latte-art pour and original content;
- not infringe another person's copyright, intellectual property, privacy or other rights;
- not contain unlawful, offensive, discriminatory or inappropriate material;
- not contain fraudulent or misleading information; and
- comply with Instagram's applicable rules.
KUKI may remove or disqualify an entry that does not satisfy these requirements.
7. Selecting the Top 8
Following the close of entries, representatives of KUKI Coffee and UnTinto Unique Coffee will select eight finalists (Top 8).
Entries will be considered on:
- visual impact;
- latte-art execution;
- creativity; and
- overall pour.
This is a skill-based competition. The Top 8 are not selected randomly.
Finalists are expected to be announced from 26 October 2026.
8. People's Pour Voting
The Top 8 will progress through a community voting competition conducted through the @kuki_coffee Instagram Stories.
The intended format is:
Top 8 → Quarter Finals → Semi Finals → The Final Pour
Each voting round will generally remain open for approximately 24 hours.
The eligible entry receiving the greater number or proportion of valid votes in each head-to-head Story poll will progress to the next round.
KUKI may adjust the timing or format of a voting round where reasonably necessary due to Instagram availability, technical problems or other circumstances outside KUKI's reasonable control.
KUKI reserves the right to disregard votes that it reasonably considers fraudulent, automated, manipulated, purchased or otherwise not genuine.
Entrants must not use bots, automated voting systems, paid voting services or other artificial means to manipulate voting.
If a voting result is tied, materially affected by a technical issue, or cannot reasonably be determined, KUKI and UnTinto will determine which entry progresses by applying the judging criteria in section 7.
The decision will be final, subject to applicable law.
9. Major Prize — People's Pour
The overall People's Pour winner will receive The Pour Project Major Prize Pack, valued at approximately AUD $500, including:
- 1 × Brewing Culture Coffee Tamping Station V3 Black Set, 58mm
- 1 × Brewing Culture Smart Coffee Scale 3.0 Mini
- 1 × KUKI Coffee T-shirt
- 1 × KUKI Coffee mug
- 1 × Official World Barista latte cup
The prize is not transferable or redeemable for cash.
If a particular prize component becomes unavailable for reasons outside the Promoter's reasonable control, the Promoter may offer a reasonably equivalent substitute, subject to applicable law and agreement where required.
10. Most Improved Pour
A Most Improved Pour will be selected by Juan / UnTinto based on the improvement demonstrated through the entrant's participation in The Pour Project.
The recipient will receive:
- 1 × Brewing Culture Smart Coffee Scale 3.0 Mini, plus
- additional KUKI and/or UnTinto extras selected by the Promoter.
Additional extras may include coffee, merchandise or other KUKI/UnTinto products and are supplementary to the guaranteed Brewing Culture scale.
11. KUKI Wild Card
KUKI Coffee and UnTinto will also select a KUKI Wild Card entry.
The recipient will receive:
- 1 × Brewing Culture Smart Coffee Scale 3.0 Mini, plus
- additional KUKI and/or UnTinto extras selected by the Promoter.
Additional extras may include coffee, merchandise or other KUKI/UnTinto products and are supplementary to the guaranteed Brewing Culture scale.
The Wild Card exists to recognise an entry that KUKI and UnTinto believe deserves recognition and does not need to be the technically strongest pour.
12. Winner Announcement
The People's Pour winner and minor prize recipients are intended to be announced on or around 31 October 2026 through KUKI Coffee's Instagram account.
Winners will also be contacted via Instagram direct message.
Winners must respond within 7 days of being contacted and provide the information reasonably required to verify eligibility and deliver their prize.
If a winner cannot be contacted, does not respond within 7 days, is found to be ineligible or otherwise fails to comply with these Terms & Conditions, the Promoter may select an alternative recipient using the applicable judging or voting criteria.
13. Prize Delivery
Prizes will be delivered to an eligible Australian delivery address supplied by each winner.
The Promoter will cover standard delivery of the advertised prize within Australia.
The Promoter is not responsible for delays caused by postal, courier or other circumstances outside its reasonable control.
14. Use of Entry Content
By entering, entrants confirm that they own or have the necessary rights to the content submitted.
Entrants grant KUKI Coffee, UnTinto Unique Coffee and Brewing Culture a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to repost, share and display their competition entry on their websites, social-media channels and other digital channels in connection with The Pour Project and its promotion.
Where reasonably practicable, entrants will be credited when their content is reposted.
Ownership of the original content remains with the entrant.
15. Finalists and Competition Content
Entrants acknowledge that their Instagram username, entry image/video and latte-art entry may be displayed publicly if they are shortlisted or featured as part of The Pour Project.
Finalists may be asked to provide an original or higher-resolution version of their submitted content for use in competition voting and promotional material.
16. Privacy
Personal information collected in connection with the competition will be used for administering the competition, verifying eligibility, contacting winners and fulfilling prizes.
Information may be provided to third parties where reasonably necessary to administer or fulfil the competition, including prize and delivery partners.
Personal information will otherwise be handled in accordance with KUKI Coffee's applicable privacy practices and Australian law.
17. Technical Problems and Disqualification
The Promoter is not responsible for entries, messages or votes that are lost, delayed, incorrectly submitted or inaccessible because of Instagram outages, internet failures or other technical issues outside its reasonable control.
The Promoter may disqualify an entrant who:
- tampers with the entry or voting process;
- uses fraudulent or automated voting;
- submits content they do not own;
- provides false information;
- breaches these Terms & Conditions; or
- behaves in a way that materially undermines the fair operation of the competition.
Where a technical issue materially affects a voting round, KUKI may rerun or otherwise fairly resolve that round.
18. Changes or Cancellation
If circumstances outside the Promoter's reasonable control prevent the competition from operating as intended, the Promoter may modify, suspend or cancel the competition to the extent reasonably necessary and permitted by law.
Any material change will be communicated through KUKI Coffee's website and/or Instagram account.
Nothing in these Terms & Conditions excludes any rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded under Australian law.
19. Instagram Disclaimer
This competition is not sponsored, endorsed, administered by or associated with Instagram or Meta.
By entering, entrants acknowledge that Instagram and Meta have no responsibility for the administration of the competition or fulfilment of prizes.
Entrants release Instagram and Meta from claims arising from or connected with the competition to the extent permitted by law.
20. Brewing Culture
Brewing Culture is the Major Prize Partner of The Pour Project and has supplied prize components.
Brewing Culture is not responsible for the administration, judging or operation of the competition unless expressly stated otherwise.
21. Acceptance of Terms
By entering The Pour Project competition, entrants are deemed to have read and accepted these Terms & Conditions.
The Promoter's decisions concerning eligibility, judging, voting integrity and administration are final, subject to applicable law
